Thank you for your interest in the Southwest Washington Human Resource Management Association (SWHRMA) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

SWHRMA was formed in June 2000 in response to the professional need for more networking and focus on Washington HR issues in the Southwestern region of our state. Our SWHRMA membership currently exceeds 200 human resource professionals. We are proud to offer the following membership benefits:

SWHRMA does not charge annual membership dues. However, by designating SWHRMA as your primary chapter within SHRM, you help the chapter receive funding from the national organization. In addition, you gain membership status with the local chapter that enables you to vote on chapter issues and obtain membership benefits on the local level.
